3,000 representatives of the aeronautic sector from 125 countries will visit Barcelona for the XXIII World Routes in 2017.

The Secretary for Infrastructure and Transport and President of Airports of Catalonia, Ricard Font, received the testimony of the organization of the World Routes 2017 by the Chinese city of Chengdu, the host of this year. The event, held in the framework of the closing of the World Routes 2016, has served to present the new host for organizing this international conference of aviation, the world’s largest number of participants.

Barcelona will host from 23 to 26 September 2017 in this event, which will bring the city more than 3,000 aviation professionals. Specifically, in this event will take part 300 airlines, 700 airports, 130 tourism representatives from 125 countries, among others.

The World Routes is an excellent opportunity to establish contacts with professionals, delegates and international aviation sector authorities, in order to open new intercontinental routes at the Barcelona-El Prat Airport.
